Cancelling, billing, and refunds

How to cancel

Cancellation is self-serve: log in, go to Billing, and cancel.
No email, no chat required, no retention hoops.

  • Cancelling during the trial stops it immediately: nothing is

charged, and the card authorization hold is released (your bank then
takes up to 7 business days to clear it from the statement).

  • Cancelling a paid plan keeps your access until the end of the

period you already paid for, then stops future charges.

  • Instead of leaving entirely, you can switch to the **free plan

(25 credits/month, dashboard use)**: your API keys and history stay
saved for whenever you upgrade again.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by a person: write to us in the chat or at
support@1lookup.io with the email on your account and what happened,
and the team follows up by email.

Two useful facts:

  • Refunds that are issued take 5 to 10 business days to appear on

your statement after processing.

  • If what you see is the trial authorization hold rather than a real

charge, there is nothing to refund: the hold releases by itself. Ask
in the chat and we check which one it is, live.

Invoices and receipts

Invoices and payment history are in the dashboard under Billing. Need a
change on an invoice (company details, VAT number)? Write to us and a
team member sorts it out.

Think you were charged twice?

Usually "charged twice" is one real charge plus the temporary trial
hold, which banks display like a charge. Ask in the chat: we list the
exact charges on your account. If something looks genuinely wrong, the
team reviews it and follows up with you.
