Company firmographics: size, revenue, industry and tech stack

Company Firmographics turns a company domain into the business facts behind it: what the company does, how big it is and what it runs on. Use it to score inbound leads, route accounts to the right team or fill gaps in your CRM records.

What it tells you

  • Whether the domain matched a company at all, and the company name on record.
  • The industry the company sits in, the country it is based in and the year it was founded.
  • Headcount, both as a number and as a size band, plus annual revenue.
  • Standard industry codes (SIC and NAICS) you can use for your own segmentation.
  • How many technologies the company uses, so you can gauge how built-out its stack is.
  • Growth signals: headcount change over the past 12 months, and headcount broken out by department.

What you need to provide

One input: the company's domain, for example "shopify.com".

What it costs

75 credits per lookup. This one is success-based: you are charged 0 credits when the company is not matched. Live per-product costs are shown on the Billing page in your dashboard.

How to run it

  • In the dashboard: Company Firmographics
  • From your code: POST /v1/company-firmographics, then see the Developer Hub at app.1lookup.io/developer-hub.

Good to know

  • Results are point-in-time. Headcount, revenue and tech stack all move, so re-check a record before you act on an old result.
  • The only accepted input is a domain, so you need to resolve a company name to its domain before you call this.
  • Because a no-match costs nothing, you can run a list of uncertain domains without paying for the rows that miss.
  • The response splits the headline facts (name, industry, size, revenue) from the deeper detail (industry codes, technology count, growth), so you can map only the fields you actually use.
