B2B contact append: complete a contact's email, title and seniority
B2B Contact Append fills in the missing details on a business contact you already partly know. Give it one identifier for the person and it returns their verified work email plus their job details. Use it to complete CRM records or to reveal a row you found in Prospect Search.
What it tells you
- Whether the person was matched, and the full name on record.
- The person's work email address, plus a confidence level for that email.
- Their current job title and seniority level.
- The company they work for and that company's domain.
- The department or departments they sit in.
- When their current role started, which tells you how long they have been in the seat.
What you need to provide
Match on any one of these:
- An email address you already have for the person, work or personal.
- The person's LinkedIn profile URL.
- The person's full name plus their employer's domain. Name on its own is not enough, the company domain is required with it.
What it costs
75 credits per lookup. This one is success-based: you are charged 0 credits on a no-match. Live per-product costs are shown on the Billing page in your dashboard.
How to run it
- In the dashboard: B2B Contact Append
- From your code: POST /v1/b2b-contact-append, then see the Developer Hub at app.1lookup.io/developer-hub.
Good to know
- This is the call that reveals a Prospect Search row. Prospect Search returns previews, and this product is the one that charges the reveal price.
- Results are point-in-time. People change jobs, titles and email addresses, so a match that was right last quarter can be stale today. The confidence level applies to the email address that came back.
- An email or a LinkedIn URL works as a single input on its own. A name only works when you send the employer's domain with it.
- This returns personal data about identifiable people. Use it for legitimate business purposes only.
