Social profile check: confirm a handle is real and active

Check whether a social handle exists, and see the headline numbers on that profile. Use it when you are vetting an influencer, screening a lead's social presence or cleaning a list of handles.

What it tells you

• Whether a live profile exists for that handle on that platform.
• The display name behind the handle.
• How many followers it has, and how many accounts it follows.
• Whether the account shows a verified badge, and whether it is private.
• How many posts or videos it has published, and whether it is set up as a business account.
• The bio text on the profile, plus an engagement rate where one is available.

What you need to provide

• The platform and the handle, with or without the @. Supported platforms are Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, Twitch, Snapchat, Bluesky and Truth Social.
• Or, instead of those two, a full profile URL on any supported platform.

What it costs

10 credits per lookup. This one is success-based: you are charged 0 credits when no live profile is found. Live per-product costs are shown on the Billing page in your dashboard.

Good to know

• Results are point-in-time. Follower counts, bios and verified badges change on their own, so what you get back can differ from what the profile shows later.
• It covers the ten platforms listed above. A handle on any other service will not resolve here.
• Some fields come back empty. Engagement rate in particular is not present for every profile.
• A private account can still be confirmed as existing, and it is flagged as private in the result.
• This returns public profile data about real people and brands. Use it for legitimate business purposes only.
